Old-growth Photo Contest

A photo contest of your favourite old-growth forest in Canada associated with the 2022 Ecology and Conservation Section symposium on, "Vanishing old-growth forests in Canada: A symposium on their ecology and value for society"

Please submit one or two of your favourite original photos relevant to the theme of old-growth forest in Canada along with a brief description between May 20 to June 3rd. Judging will be based on a rating value that each photo receives. The voting period will start on June 4th and run until the end of the day on June 8. A winner will be declared during the closing ceremony of the CBA meeting. The prize will be an official certificate from the CBA and a cross-section of a tree from an old-growth forests in Canada based on research by André Arsenault. This contest is only open to CBA members... A good time to become a member!
